So here I am nine months into my second deployment to Iraq, and I've decided to start writing a blog about my experiences here. I guess it's better late than never. I can't take credit for this idea however. My brother nick got a kick out of the fact that I am miserable here, and thought that I should share my feelings with the world regarding my experiences with Iraq, and more importantly the Garmy (active duty national guard, I'll get to the significance of that at a later time.)
If you are hoping to find an account of combat, or some other kind "Hooah bullshit" this isn't the place for you. Read the book black hawk down or something. This also isn't the place were I'll be toeing the line of uber-conservative Republican ideology. There is no koolaid drinking here on my part. Don't get me wrong, I do still consider myself a conservative. I haven't had any kind of epiphany about the horrors of war; that is if you still insist on calling this a war. I'm not going to come home and start protesting along side that silly bitch Cindy Sheehan. Enough on that.
I've really wandered off on a rabbit trail here. The main point of this first blog was to warn you. I'm going to express how I truely feel, and in order to do so, foul and crude language will be used. I'm sorry if that offends you but you really won't get the true feeling of what I have to say if I censor myself. It's just part of the environment I'm in. Anyways thats all that i wanted to say on this first of my blogs, but I got stuck rambling. That's probably going to happen alot in future posts. Tune in next time.

Perfect!
Thanks for the honesty and the warning about the language. I figure it will be about like watching 'Saving Private Ryan'...I'll tune in again and see....might be worse, huh? Anyway, I'm sweating a river in Georgia in your honor. lol, cheese
Very nice. I'm looking forward to future posts!!
tell me more tell me more.
Jeremiah, I'm so glad you decided to do this.
Not only does it connect people back home with your current circumstances, its also a great tool to show naive Americans what's really going down overseas.
Amazing bro. Let it rip.
Awesome. After reading this first post, I can honestly say I'm excited to read more.
I'm cracking up already.
Whoops. That last one was me. That title is from a blog I made a few years ago to apply for a job. Fixed it.
